]]> People with new computers coming installed with windows 8 have to create a new windows passport account and email. They do so and then forget their password, rendering the computer locked out, with no recovery information.

To prevent that, create a local user that is Administrator.

Click on Control-Panel

Click on other accounts

Click on Other accounts

Click on Add an account

Do not enter an email, check at the bottom there is a green on green link "Sign in without a Microsoft account (not recommended)". Click on it.

Click on Local account.

Fill up the rest and click Next
